Actually I do farely well on the slow part, it's a part about 3/4 the way through with jumps that mess me up. Also: remember arcades judge harder than console versions.
Tonight was an AWESOME night for me (I'll review) :
*1st tries meaning 1st try EVER.
Exotic Ethnic (1st Try) - B Graduisic Cyber (10,,34040343000th Try) - C Healing Vision Angelic Mix (1st Try) - B Insertion (1st Try) I think I got a B, maybe an A... My Summer Love (1st Try) - A Orion .78 (Civilization Mix) (1st Try) - C Rhythm and Police (1st Try) - D (Blah!) Paranoia Evolution (1st try) - A
With that, the only 9 on the US console games I haven't passed is A (Oni) which I haven't tried.

Yeah, I guess my points about Sakura being not draining kind of die with Witch Doctor. It really just uses those things (@ 150bpm), and I feel like my heart exploded when I get done. Sakura is still less draining, though.
I'm having problems finding this part on the stepchart. There are a few jumps leading into the slowdown. There is a part around 3/4 where the left and right alternate a bit and ends in a single jump (I tend to screw this part up). Otherwise, there are the jumps right before that final 8th run. I'm not sure which part you are talking about.
Anyway, I decided to try to learn to use the bar for Max 300 today, since I had too much time to spend with a Max 2 machine while the Extremes were busy. Of course, I did worse with the bar than without, but that is because I am not used to it yet. Max2 only stays on the score screen for 10 seconds, so I really couldn't write down much. Also, I played Versus a few times, and I felt stupid thinking about asking the guy to let me write stuff down.
The few that I did get down I posted. That Tsugaru score makes me mad. I was 1 DP off of an A.
I think I beat Sakura 4 times total. People must have been sick of it. Sadly, the posted score is the best I did.
Oh yeah, I picked "It's Rainin' Men" by accident. I yelled to everybody "MY FINGER SLIPPED!!! THIS IS NOT WHAT I WANTED!!!!"

Haha I hate that. I always do that, press the wrong button, and up playing "So In Love" or something awful like that.
And yes, I though there were more jumps in the Sakura part; I mess up with the left/right foot alternation part with like 1 jump.

And yes, I though there were more jumps in the Sakura part; I mess up with the left/right foot alternation part with like 1 jump. I mess that part up too. To deal with it, I just think of it as one long stream of 8ths, and I alternate on L/R prepared for the jump. The steps get off if you do that, though, so expect some Greats and Goods from that solution.

The arcade is now #1 on my list of things I HATE.
I tried Sakura twice, and got my feet caught on the F'ing stupid metal pad both times and failed. If I get JP I shall conquer that song mercelissly.

Yeah... I did play with the bar, but I just can't not catch my feet. Also, I finally passed A (Oni) tonight so I've passed all 9 footers on the 3 games I have, and all the Heavies/Challenges except for the 10 footers... Also, 19 G on Kind Lady Interlude... I've been working on that one for a while... 13 on Bad Routine... (not very impressive)

I love playing at the arcade. The first time that you play with the buttons down into the pad, you miss the steps a lot. Now, it feels much more right than my pads at home. I prefer arcade play to home other than the cost.
I really suck with the bar (more than usual). I should either practice with it more or commit to never ever using it. I definitely didn't need it for Sakura. To beat Max 300 my first few times, I may need it. I run out of gas by the time I hit the middle freeze, and I am in no condition to finish the song! I probably just need to keep at it at home, though...build up my stamina more.
Stupid question, but have you tried playing Sakura as the first song on your lineup? I know it is a gamble, but your bar goes down WAY slower on your first song than on your last. You probably knew that already, though.

Ah, actually I didn't. But no, I haven't tried it. I'm a cheapskate.

Yea, try 1st Stage, you should be able to pass it.
Sly Rax : Keep trying on 300! One way I used to build up stamina was doing tiring songs with chaos runs (V oni, Witch Doctor). These songs can really help you have that extra boost for 300.
Also, realize the freeze is like 370 combo-ish through the song, so you are almost done.

yeah, you should really do sakura on your first stage.
But last week i tried to pass it as many times in a row as possible
i passed sakura on heavy 13 times in a row A's and AA's until i felt wierd doing it that many times and started doing other songs insted, i didn't waste that much money cuz i also did it on ES.

The Least 100 Seconds - 6 (The pic is of 8 greats, it was the lowest great count with a pic I took) Graduisic Cyber - 6 (Once again, the pic is of 7, it was the lowest great count with a pic I took) Destiny Lovers - 5 El Ritmo Tropical - 3 Stoic - 3 Waka Laka - 1 107.) Wow awesome job. I can't get my feet to move fast enough to do well on Graduisic Cyber...
And I can't do TL100S, due to more or less NO BEAT whatsoever.

When I tried TL100S a while back, I lost by dropping the last freeze in the entire song! That made me so mad.
Insanemidget: I definitely wasn't planning on giving up! Thank you for the advice. I have several ideas as to songs that should help me with that. You and SheScreamedClaudio mentioned another great one: Gradiusic Cyber. I will start hammering away!

Graduisic Cyber is ridiculously hard. It's got a HUGE amount of 16th notes...it isn't really tiring, it's just hard to PA...really hard >_<.
Try Orion Civ Mix, just remember it's offbeat.

I confirm the Graduisic Cyber comment. I mean, I'm getting better, good enough to do a 9 footer upon command, but it took me several tries to pass Graduisic Cyber. If your pad doesn't register machine-gun steps, then you're probably not going to do well on it. It's too hard. That and besides the fact that (in my opinion) that song makes next to no sense, along with the steps.
Orion .78 isn't as hard as everyone said it was, but I had trouble on all the jumps. Some of the 1/16th parts confused me a bit though.

You have to remember our two different opinions of hard are PA/Passing.
Orion has 32nd notes, not 16ths, which is one reason it's hard. It's also early, so you have to purposely be offbeat to get Perfects.
G Cyber makes plenty of sense, if you get to the point to where you can play it an arcade well, and you can hear your own steps, it goes perfectly with it.

I was wrong apparently, the Orion Civ Mix arrows are 12ths.
