I just AA'd my first song on light today. "It's Rainin Men" I know, nothing big, but it's an accomplishment for me, considering ive only been playing a few days.  |

I've been playing about 10 months, with my 19-year-old son coaching me. I'm happy when I can just do my favorite songs fairly well. Best to date:

wow, that's pretty good, i tried to get my mom to play but she never passed light.
but now i'm on 10 footers, been playing for about a year and a half now

I always have trouble with It's My Generation on Heavy for some reason, it's really not hard.
Does anyone else have trouble with Era on Heavy?

Era is fun. I used to play it several times in a row to help me with my stamina. It has too much of a rest in the middle, though. Once you get past the speed, there really isn't much to it. It doesn't even have any crossovers (except maybe in the slow part...I can't remember).
ARCADE DAY! All but 1998 were my first time playing them in the arcade:
1998 - A
Crash! - B
There You'll Be - B
Cowgirl - A (it was waaaay too easy for an 8)
Healing Vision - B
Broken My Heart - B
Heaven is a '57 Metallic Gray (Gimmix) - B
Kakumei - B
Aoi Shoudou (for EXTREME) - B
Rhythm & Police (K.O.G. G3 Mix) - B
Notes: It was my first time playing Crash!, There You'll Be, Cowgirl, Heaven..., and Aoi Shoudou outside of Stepmania. Stepmania took away the surprises, but I still had to translate hands to feet.
I picked Daikenkai Oni and lost BAD. Okay, I did great until the speed-up part. Then it all fell apart.
Getting a B on Kakumei surprised me, since I can still only get a C on it in socks with console timing at home. I got like a 200 combo with a decent amount of Perfects at the arcade, though.
It was my first time getting an A on 1998, my warmup song.
My friend got there tonight and wanted to watch, so I played an extra set. The set was Matsuri Japan, Kakumei, and R&P (which was my first time ever playing those last two in the arcade). He was extremely impressed. He thought it wasn't going to be nearly as interesting.
After that, we played at the Cyber Cafe. All in all, a fun night.

I'm so glad for everyone who have used ddr as a part of their everyday exercise.. So many of you have accomplished so much.. If you look in the new Self Magazine; the one with Drew Barrymore on the cover... They had 4 video games that aid the user in Losing weight.. Dance dance revolution recieved an A+.. Not only are you busting those calories in the a$$, You're also having fun... Way too much fun

You won't be able to pass Legend Road.
It's crazy...MaxX Unlimited is so hard to get past.
To play Legend Road you have to have an unlocked EX machine.

You mean to unlock Bag in the arcade? I thought it was there from the beginning. Just sort and go to the Bs.

No, haha, I was wondering how to unlock Legend Road. I think I may try Xenon soon... but not So Deep. Also... for some reason I still can't pass The Whistle Song... not to mention that song drives me insane.
