Don't worry about it... it's kind of an inside joke between a few of us, since losing weight some of us have been accused ot having {insert favourite eating disorder here}

Honestly.

I for one am pretty sure that not one here has an eating disorder. We're just trying to make light of a somewhat awkward situation.

eh - no it didn't really have anything to do with you. As I told others - I had a girl see me who hadn't seen me for a long time and she asked if I was on drugs. Aparently if you loose weight it's because of drugs or eating disorders.... we are just being a wee bit spiteful.

Actually, we have had some instances here of folks with various eating disorders. However, I don't know if those individuals still visit the boards or not. But as with all potentially sensitive topics, I ask that everybody try to remain aware that what may be a joke for you may be quite serious to others.

I think its offensive when we get blamed for having one. Like normal weight loss can't be the answer, we have to be starving ourselves to lose the weight.

Oh, absolutely it's absurd. A lot of people don't understand how fast safe, effective weight loss can be, nor do they understand the extremes that real eating disorders take people to. They also like to claim that since they failed in their weight loss efforts, you must be doing something dangerous to succeed in yours.

I'm a binge eater.... and had issues with starving myself....but I'm trying to change that.

wow i have been asked if i use drugs. the answer is no
!!! its mostly because of my eyes. for some reason im seen in school all the time tired. and thats pretty much all there is to it. i dont have an eating disorder, and to anyone who does im sorry for even menchining it.

I am addicted to chocolate even two docs have me as addicted as i have no probs eating all the time. Since new years i have cut back and i can tell a difference. I was like really draggy and just kinda out of it the first week now i kinda go up and down when i do eat it i feel great. Maybe chocolate should be classified as a drug. I can eat baking cocoa right out of the can.

So i raise my hand yeah i got a eating disorder according to some.
