Ouch, that does look like it hurt!
It looks like fun though, i'd like to get into parkour, but first I need to get into better shape I think.

Well, clearly your problem was obvious, you went right with your legs when you should have gone left (or preferrably over the top). By going right you went to the uphill side of the slide, which doesn't give you much room for your legs.

WTF is that? Parkour is "free running", Like in the car commercials. (Toyota?)

Well, I meant to go completely over, but I chickened out right before the jump and messed up.

Maybe it's just that I'm kind of old, but I still don't get what parkour is?
Please explain! Thanks!

Maybe it's just that I'm kind of old, but I still don't get what parkour is? Please explain! Thanks! www.parkour.com (has flash and may take a while to load) Also goes by the name free-running or urban freeflow, it's a hybrid of running, gymnastics, and martial arts. Picture Jackie Chan in a cross-city footrace, jumping down staircases, valuting walls and other obstacles, running up and along walls, etc, and you've got a pretty good picture of what parkour is. The video I was thinking of is here: sebastien.foucan.club.fr/video/toyota.wmv
