I was playing DDR Extreme last week for about a couple of hours and during a song, Some sharp sudden pain went through my foot. I fell hard on the floor wondering whats up. So I ignored it until a few days later. It happened again when I was playing sports with my friends. I thought it was another coincidence until now because its happening more frequently.
I examined my foot and saw that the pain came up between the toes and the heel, in the middle of the foot. Is this normal?

I had pain when I first started playing ddr, I would recomend playing flat footed, In other words, you want to move as little as possible.

I have had that same problem even before I started playing ddr. It's the plantar tendon. People like to call it a plantar wart, but it's not. However, it is tearing. It's just a natural occurance that happens. It tears, then heals just like muscles when you work out.
My pain has gone away for the most part, thanks to ddr. Just take it easy when it hurts and play flatfoot, like one guy said.
Right now, my forearm is killing me, but that means it's healing from tearing.

How long would it take to heal?

Unfortunately, DDR caused my plantar tendon issues. That's what I get for taking a break and playing back on my 20 song workout set... So, playing flat foot helps? It's funny, I'm trying to lose weight, but I can't play, so I can't lose weight, so I need to play... RAWR... Any advise?

I bolded the fallacy in your logic. Just because you can't play DDR does not prevent you from taking steps to lose weight. You can still eat better, you can still work out with your arms, swim, go on walks, etc.

You don't have to "bold a fallacy in logic." You could have just assumed that DDR was my aerobics, and possible understand that you don't know what my other active and dietary habits are like. Sorry, just found the comment condecending without any real answer to my question.

Oh, and by the way, icy hot, ace bandages, flex and stretching the foot and playing flat foot does help.

Sorry, just found the comment condecending without any real answer to my question. That's true, it was condecending, and I apologize for that. I've been... off, lately. The point I was not so eloquently trying to make is that there are many paths to fitness, and sometimes, especially during an injury, you need to make adjustments and alterations to your fitness regimen to stay on course.
