Has anyone else experienced ankle pain or torn achilles tendon after playing ddr? I'm near 100 pounds overweight and start doing ddr back in february/march on a plain dance pad barefoot. I tore my tendon a few weeks later during a ddrmax session. It is healed but is still sore. Would dancing while wearing shoes be better? Of course it probably would.
Any of you doing this with shoes experience problems?

Like I said in your other thread, you need to stretch before playing. Warm up a little bit and don't just start playing full out right away. Shoes aren't going to help much, unless you play in high tops.
