Dumb question, I'm sure! You are all talking about 7-footers, 8-footers and so on, and I have no idea what defines that. Can you help? I am a 37-y-o mom of two and just started playing DDR. I have Supernova for PS. I bought it about 1 1/2 weeks ago. I'm passing all of the beginner and basic levels easily with A's and am starting to tackle the difficult mode. Boy, those years of playing drums in band sure do help!! Thanks!

If you look closely, on DDR you'll notice that the difficulty units on DDR songs are measured by little feet. A 7 footer is a level 7 song (has 7 feet lit up), and so on.

Thanks! I'll look for those the next time I boot up.

Hmmm. I still don't see feet on the screen. I'm using Supernova. Maybe I'm just not seeing them. There's so much stuff on the screen to take in.

Okay, I thought those were arrows or something. I was under the impression that each song had it's own foot rating. So I guess no matter which song it is, if I play it on the advanced skill level it's a 6-footer or whatever (I don't have it on screen right now), regardless of the BPM, steps, number of jumps, etc? Thanks for your responses!

Those things to the right of the difficulty name are the feet. In this case, we have a 1 footer beginner, 2 footer basic, 5 footer difficult, 7 footer expert, and 8 footer challenge. The layout might differ between versions (this one's Supernova), but they're definitely always there.
