Hi guys! I was wondering why you use speed mods? I know kind of what they do but what is the purpose?
Thank you for your answer!

In a nutshell, people use speed mods to space out the arrows more to make them easier to read. Generally, the speed of the arrows has less of an impact on reading than the spacing. It becomes very apparent on songs that have a lot of single setps and jumps mixed together on 8th or 16th notes. For an extreme example, take Bag (which is 60 bpm). At 1x, the arrows are so extremely close together that it's near impossible to clearly tell where in the beat you're supposed to step. But if you crank it up to 3x or more, it becomes much clearer and easier to read.
