I'm going to be buying DDr (not sure which one yet..) and I was wondering, is it vital to buy an expensive dance pad? How long do the regular ones last? I'm a bit heavier, does that matter when choosing a dance pad?
So lets say you think I should get an upgraded dance pad. Which one, and why?

If you're just starting out, you're going to be better off just getting a standard soft pad (and possibly some modding material to give you a little more support/less sliding. I've found that the soft mats that come with the In the Groove Bundle (should be around $60 at most Gamestops) are some of the best I've played. Once you've decided that you like the game and are going to stick with it for a while, then look around for better pads. Remember to take into account how much replacement pads are costing you and how fast you burn through them. If it takes you 6 months to burn through a $20 mat, that's 8 years of play time before you get up to the cost of one Cobalt Flux.

Yeah, before I bought my CF mat, I was going through a soft pad a week, no joke. That's alot of money right there.

I just wanted to tell you about the new dance pad I bought and if you are interested. Its the same pad from the Dance Dance Revolution games but for the PC with USB port, and the best news is that it is only $10.00!! It took me a lot time to find one like it, just wanted to help those who are looking for some dance pads. I leave the link: Edit by Moderator: No affiliate links, please.
Bye!

okay I deleted my old post because I thought it was a little harsh: but I've pretty much ascertained this is a forum plant.
