okay so you know I have the afterburner... but I just never use it. It's too hard for me to play anything remotely challenging without the handle bar now. I know you can get those shaddy pads with the bar....but is there a site that offers JUST the bar for sale? One that I could use with my afterburner? Mount one in some way? I don't want to buy a shadey metal pad at $400 just to get that dang bar. You would think that SOMEONE out there would make just the bar right??

Don't be jealous. You all know you want it. Yes, it is one of the most ghetto contraptions I've ever come up with. Yes, those are paint cans on the chair to weight it down. Yes, I have the drawstring of a bathrobe wrapped around the back for grip. OMG THERES MY CHOCOLATE BAR!! Sweeeeet... Anyway. I would actually suggest going along this route (you can make yours a little more, er, classy) since you can find a chair that would suit your height. I'm not even sure if you can buy one that doesn't come with a pad attached; even if you did, that bar is probably made specifically for that pad and you wouldn't have a way of attaching it to your Afterburner. You can build one yourself (or pass the project off on Doug ) by using some PVC piping and attaching that to a platform that sits underneath your dance pad. Theres a link on the CF forums I can dig up if you're interested, I think the project runs somewhere around $50 or so.

Please do. oh... and I have tried the wooden chair technique, and my chair would not hold it's position so I would end up in odd positions and or angles that caused some soreness...even when I wedged it between the couch and the dancepad. It's probably because it's just slippery tile in my basement...so I would like to avoid that if I could.
