Hi, I'm new here. I never really respected the DDR game, as I belong to a semi-elitiest group of RTS gamers, unable to look beyond our keyboard and into the future. The other day I saw a guy playing DDR and he could really move, and apparently he wasn't even that good. I got to thinking that this really was a good use of human ingenuity. Play a game, get rythm, get in shape.
Although I do not know if the technology is currently availble, I think that the next generation consols will be capable of expanding the abilities of the DDR craze to ecompas more cardio/boxing type of stuff. Has anyone else considered programing a newer version of DDR when the new consols come out, that add a tai-bo aspect?
...what do you guys think? It seems like a good way to train for combo's in boxing...?

Well, I'm sure it's been thought about and really, the eyetoy for PS2 looped in with the Extreme games is about as close as I foresee it becoming.

well.... what if we take a setup like para para that uses motion sensors? Then we could play a boxing game similar to the old power glove days! Would be fun!!

Check out EyeToy:Kinetic. I think it's got what you're looking for.
