What songs do you like to play best for a good workout? I usually do three four-round games of Pump at the arcade, starting off with an easy "4" difficulty song like We Are or Another Truth on hard, then two more intense difficulty songs that I know the steps to well enough for a guaranteed A or S score like Oy! Oy! Oy! or Dr. M on hard, then try a higher difficulty song like Turkey March or Winter (that way if I get like... a C or B it won't make me lose)
Every couple months I've been sort of "sliding up" the songs, like, previously, We Are and Another Truth were my "intense difficulty" songs. So the whole thing gets harder as I improve.
One problem- I can't go to the arcade more than once a week ($1.50 US a game! Ouch!) I do have the home versions of both DDR (Konamix, Max 1, Extreme) and Pump it UP: Exceed, but I don't know which songs are good to play just to get moving. Most of the songs I like on Pump NEED the bar or I will fall over and die a horrible painful death D: or are just too fast for a vinyl pad. And... I haven't played DDR in a -long- time also because I got to a point where I could only play songs that were boringly easy with my pad.
SO. I'm just wondering what some good "workout" songs are on these PS2 games, or even on the Pump arcade edition. For PS2, I'm looking for songs with a high enough difficulty that you're moving around, but don't cause your pad to slip to the other side of the room and crumple into a vinyly ball of defeat.
So far all I like on DDR is LOVE LOVE Sugar on Standard and Rhythm and Police on Standard and on Pump Csikos' Post and Winter on Easy. All of these songs are INSANELY easy, but simple enough my pad doesn't slip too much, an still have some movement to them...
Help, please?
