Freezes. =)
No, there is really nothing special at all. You just keep putting your weight on them. At the arcade, sometimes the pad will not be in perfect condition and it stops registering so you have to push hard on it sometimes.

Freezes are scored differently, it's just an ok/not ok sort of thing. So if you're concerned about seeing OKs on the freezes, that means you're doing them fine.

How I learned to do better on Freezes is basically just put all my weight on that arrow... okay that's a bad way to put it.
I can't think of a specific song, but say you have a really, really long right freeze. Obviously you would put your right foot on that arrow, and all your weight along with it. Maybe there will be 1/8 notes with that freeze, like a pattern like U,L,D,L,U. That's fine. Just use your foot to tap the arrows and it should still work fine.

I noticed when i use my cheaper pads no matter how much pressure i put on the freeze arrow it normally fails ( the pad rapid fires on certain areas making freezes impossible). If you put your weight on the arrow and it flash's it's a pretty good indicator of a rapid firring arrow.
