I've always liked DDR, but I'm starting more and more to be wanting it ALL (except for importing) and I don't like DDR anymore. I OBSESS on it. Now, here are some questions. On ultramix, do I have to buy a song pack for each game to use it in both games? Or do they make song packs for ultramix able to be used on all mixes? I am definately willing to pay the 50 bucks for all the current song packs as long as they are accesible from any disc. Was it UM1 or 2 that had those awesome turtle arrows? Or do they both have a lot of arrows? Think I should go ahead and get an afterburner since it readily hooks up to all consoles AND PC? Thing is, how long do they hold up on average (I'm talking 9s on DDR and 10s on ITG) What do I need to use DDR MARIO with a US gamecube? It just came out in japan, and by the time I have the money, itll be out here, but I need to know this anyways. and which would you suggest first, UM1 or 2?

*rubs hand together* ooookay! When purchasing song packs in UM games... purchase all UM1 songs through UM1 that way they will be avaliable on UM1, 2, and 3 when it comes out. On UM 2 download all UM2 song packs through UM2 for the same reasons... song packs are NOT backwards compatible.... but that really wont matter if you are playing online 'cause most people play the most current game. Definetely get UM1 first... A: for the awesome song packs it provides and B: because the songs in general are better on that game. However, online play is ten times better on UM2. If you DO go w' UM2 first DO NOT DOWNLOAD UM1 songpacks. Wait until you buy UM1. I am all for the afterburner and already told my husband that santa can shove that bad boy in his sled for me. I assume mario DDR will come out in a bundle w' it's own dance pad. I'm not getting it....unless I want to play DDR on my bed... as far as turtle arrows... I am unaware.

I have a MadCatz Beat Pad Pro and it's compatable with Xbox, PS2 and Gamecube. Madcatz has pads for gamecube, for the MCGroovz whatever, but I'm sure there's going to be DDR with Mario/pad bundles as well. Oh, and definately go for UM1 first... for all the reasons xstatic said

OK, here is one more question:
Do only really 5 of the songs already in the game (aka not from a pack) have beginner mode? Or do they all? I was wondering cause I just completed a ULTRAMIX2 Torrent for stepmania and I want the files to be 100% like the original.
