The pad that came with extreme has finally officially broke. The right arrow doesn't register, the back arrow is so pushed back i can barely press it, but the left and up are fine ;D. I have no money AT ALL not even 20 dollars. I have no idea what i'm going to do. Any suggestions?

turn off auto fail and play along anyways. I had to do that once for a few weeks a while back. It's really annoying but it works.

You could always donate blood plasma, that's usually good for about $20 or so.
But seriously, it all depends on how brave you're feeling. You could un-stitch the outer seam of the pad, open it up, and re-arrange/redistribute/replace the inner, super-thin foam, and sew the pad back up. Or you could stash the pad away, and use the electronics to build a hard pad once you've got the time and funds, and go work a week at a minimum wage job to pay for a new pad.
Usually the soft pads aren't worth attempting to repair, but it's almost never the electronics themselves that die, so don't throw that part away. If you don't have the desire to make your own hard pad, I'll pay for postage for you to send me the circuitry.

HAHAHA, I was thinking something more along the lines of pawning movies or something Anyhoo, a "technique" I had to use when my soft pad was dying on me was, for lack of a better term, "fluffing it". Pick up the pad like you would a sheet and gently shake it out, usually that would realign the sensors enough to get the pad working for another round (I'm not saying it'll work for you, that's just what worked for me... for a while) And if worse comes to worse, and you REALLY want to play, just play with the broken pad for a while. I had to do that for a while too. It's definately not as much fun, but it still gives you your workout.
