Only for Xbox I forgot to add What's the difference if it's cross platform or just specifically for one console? Either way it'll work on your XBox. Oh, and if you have something to add to your post please modify it instead of adding a new post. Ie, if you post something, then a minute later you want to add something else, just modify your previous post *points to the modify button in the upper right*

That is the ignition V3, so no, there's no difference between the ignition and the ignition. The versions add different features, for example, the V1 ignition had a 9 segment, 3/4" foam insert and supported only PS/PS2. The V2 added raised buttons, switched the foam to a 6 segment version, and added native X-Box support. The new V3 has increased the foam density and thickness (to 7/8", I believe) and added native USB support to the mix. There are other foam insert pads out there, and I've tried several of them. You can get good mileage out of just about any of them, but I've found the ignition to be the longest lasting, best built, of the bunch. It's up to you to decide whether that justifies the price difference or not.

So basically there really isn't any difference before V.2 Dual PLats... and V3 other than the foam density and thickenss. So basically the "densiter" it is the more it feels like a hard piece of something.

That and the USB support. Yes, the denser the foam, the firmer it is.

Well this my last question, does the V2 already feel very hard.

I have the V2, the density is fine, but the foam could use to be a little thicker (i.e. the extra 1/8" they added to the v3 is a good thing). It's nothing that you'd probably notice if you weren't playing them side-by-side.
