hi, Im new to this,,, ive ignored ddr for far to long. ill give you my story in another thread... right now i must ask you all how do you protect your knees, as for mine is currently wrapped up and im waiting for the ice pack to be ready. I work out 1 hour twice a day ( morning and night) with a 30 minute sometime mid day if possible. mode - light-standard. ;D Evertime i do putting on the ritz, i grimace or even eat you up, not to mention what butterfly speed mix puts me through, i tried cant stop loving and i had to stop. Whenever i land on both feet it feels as if my left knee is going to give out. Im thinking maybe its becuase my body has forgotten what aerobic work is (i do yoga as well, it never hurts with yoga). Could it be the way that im jumping, my feet position. Someone help before i seriously hurt myself..... p.s.... lost 2 lbs in week 1......

i'm thinking you should build some leg strength by lifting around 10 lbs and doing about 50 reps a day with each leg, if you don't have access to a weight bench i think you could find those jogging weights or some kinda strap on weight and sit in a chair and lift your legs like that. Cause i messed up both of my legs bad when i was overweight, like...badly, lol. But i work out pretty regularly with weights and i've never had a DDR related knee problem as of yet.
