the a team seems like a good ddr team but i have seen one of thier video's(they did absolute on konamix)but for some reason they were on light.they all of a sudden started hitting notes that they didn't need to.they started to look like people who were qlueless of what to do.it didnt make them look better but it did make them look a bit worse.they also fell at the end(slip on a 1/4 note)which didnt make them look to good.so by doing that why do they think it's going to make them look better?does anyone know why or that have seen this happen with the a team or any other team

Yes, they were freestyling. Most freestylists play on light to give themselves more freedom to dance how they want. Kneedrops, lying on your side hitting arrows, and bar flips are all part of the freestylists routine.

I thought I'd read somewhere that A-team was primarily a freestyle team anyway, but I didn't have anything to back that up so I kept quiet. I have a question about freestyling . . . mostly, what is it all about? I've heard it's like choreography for DDR and the players are dancing moreso than playing the game for accuracy. I don't think I've ever seen a video of anyone freestyling tho. When you are freestyling, what are the rules? Do you have to play in a certain mode? Do you even have to pass the song? Does anyone on here freestyle? If I get the answer I suspect I will, I may work on some stuff for myself and maybe even *gasp!* try and show off a bit! UJKitten

I believe you play in arcade mode, and you choreograph your moves so that you can still pass the song, but do your own moves. So your scores end up comming out low as far as perfects, greats, etc, but is more based on originality and style.
This is what I was led to believe anyways.

A-Team also don't play DDR anymore because DDR became alot less popular in Korea alot faster than in Japan. They primarily play Pump these days and before PumpStreet shut down they could be found around there.
ryanddrfreak likes to post at my internet website as well so I think I will ban him from there before it gets like this.

still im gonna stick to the band thing or skateboarding and 1.how do you have fans as a ddr team dosent that seem a biot wierd.for a band i understand,i.e. good charlette oh benji we love you joel billy!greenday tre cool mike billy.ddr?oh ryan you do that 10 footer you shweating like crazy but i still want to hug you yay?no i think we should just stick to bands and sports.2.if you did have a team you wouldnt be popular.for music you getting your songs from like every chanel, ddr you will probably be known by people who go there once and forget you names the next day.you also would be on google and unless you have fans in ddr who go with you everywhere and see you do a one time thing how will any other person know what youve acommplished?3.you can make a living off music and be stinkin rich for ddr you will only loose money for either spending you money on home versions or alot of money on your arcade for haome or go to the arcade way to much.4.in music you will be able to meet other people and maybe even star in a movie with your fav star.in ddr you will meet tones of normal people and maybe 1 famous person and you dont have a good chance of making it in a movie.5. in music your songs that took you hours to write will be aired everywhere and you ddr song will be underground.6. skateboarding you will getcash as well and meet famous people and be getting free skate boarding stuff and maybe even turn pro.ddr you will not get free stuff but yoou will turn pro.7.if you skate board more people will be amazed with your tricks then ddr they wil aplaud but you get a bigger audience.music and skate boarding you learn things but in ddr what do you learn?
