Is a Dance Dance Revolution game coming out for the Nintendo DS? One with the Hamster song? Probably not, but it's still a cool idea. Already imagining the connection between a dance pad and the DS. Then you could use your progress everywhere and could plug in everywhere, right? And to practive while sitting in a bus you can learn the dance moves with the pencil in the lower screen. Not a bad idea actually lol.

FYI, there was a series of DDR games for the gameboy, so it's entirely possible they'd do one for the DS, but probably not outside of Japan.

it's possibe. DDR is increasing in popularity in the US, and decreasing in popularity in Japan.
that would be fun though. I would buy it.

The DS's touch screen could not possibly support such a game. This has already been discussed long ago around the office and it was decided that it would not be a possiblity. Sorry.

I think that the idea is fun. So when you say that the DS touch screen can not support the game, is it the speed/timing with the arrow steps? I guess I would assume that you would have to play with two fingers like you would, step mania. So I suppose that the touch screen can not read two consecutive steps as well. Perhapse the PSP could handle it...using the buttons to play...
