tonight i was listening to walka walka and then cartoon hero's and i realized they sounded like the same people. but then i looked at the artists who did it but it was walka walka/jenny rom and zippers but cartoon hero's was ddr extreme ost. is this just another name for the same band or are they different bands with the same sound?

Well, I am not sure, but they do also sound like that band that did that barbie girl song (I do not like the song, but that is the only song my sister would listen to for a few weeks solid)...the innocent girl singing with the guy who sounds like a stalker looking for a good time...

Well, many DDR artists take several names, so this is probably the case.

No they're not. KeeL has a few aliases, PlagueFox has a few aliases, the licensed songs are all their own artists.
Ask yourself: "Do I know what you are talking about? Enough to say it on the internet and potentially get corrected?"

Ask yourself: "When I write this am I going to sound like a pretentious, all-knowing Messiah? Enough for people on the internet to think I'm a jerk?"

That is the original song, but the one in DDR is either a remix of the original or a remix of a remake. That is why Barbie Young is listed as the artist.
