Do you play DDR at an arcade/outside your home?

I was just wondering how many of you guys dance publicly. After reading these topics it seems to be divided. Vote here!

I used to play at the arcade all the time, in fact I learned my way from light up to heavy without ever playing at home.

I still play at the arcade occasionally, but for the most part I just play in the dorm.

I guess I'm strange . . . I like playing at home. There's less pressure to do extremely well, and no one rags on me if I'm proud of my latest A in an easier mode than whatever they can play. I've never played in an arcade, and I have no plans to any time soon.

That being said, I will dance (not play DDR but actually dance) like a madwoman whenever we go out to a party or a club. I am actually pretty good. It seems strange to me that I will not play a game outside of my house, but I have no problem making a jerk out of myself on the dancefloor.

I live 35 mins away from the closest arcade.

There's a machine at my school and I spent a lot of time there when I lived on campus, but not so much now. I try to play a little bit every day but at $1/game it gets expensive. I wish I had the hookup to play at home...

I'm the same as Claudio, I rarely play at the arcade... maybe once every two months, tops.

Lol i wouldnt get any work done if there was one at mine. I think my current expenditure is about $2,000 AU dollars (About $1,500 american) - I stop at the arcade on the way home after school almost every day. I should have just bought my own pad by now...

Usually my friend and I go to the arcade...of course, I tend to show off for the occasional good looking girl that stops to watch, we mainly just go to have fun. Plus we both like the feel of the arcade better than home, and we know a guy that works at the arcade and he hooks us up with free credits.

I wish I could. There's supposedly a Gatti's (pizza place) and a Blazer Tag around Austin with a machine. I know where the BT is, but not which Gatti's has one.

Um, besides. I'm 28, which would feel awkward at Blazer Tag. And I'm dieting, which would be awkward at the Gatti's.

Having an audience is great! I played by myself when i was just starting to get really good scores on Standard and I had my first audience watching me.
Lots of old people and gangster dudes laughing when i missed one beat on Daikenkai, barely missing out on my AA
But performing pushes you to do better.
