That depends on only one thing: Do you feel that you are doing well? If so, then you're doing well. If not, then you need to kick it up a bit. The calorie counter is best used in the manner you're using it, as a comparison tool for your workouts. You may not actually be burning 700+ calories, but you proabaly are 25% more active in a 750 calorie session than in a 600 calorie one.

dont do that it just looks more dumb! If you don't have anything constructive to say, keep it to yourself. ddrchamp, if you can manage to squeeze in an hour a day, that's great. If you're looking to lose weight, also start eating healthier, and as you get better at DDR so will the amount of calories you burn per session. We're all here to help, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask

An hour a day is the goal I shoot for when trying to play DDR for exercise, so you're doing just fine.
Good job on beginner mode, keep playing an hour a day and you'll be moving on up to the next difficulties in no time!

Which game do you play? I recently started DDRmax2 in workout mode and I've found that even though I'm typically only able to play in 'light' mode, I can play all the songs in 'standard' and even 'heavy' mode because I have all the goofy half steps and such turned off. Theres just a few more arrows typically.
