I've been playing since August 2004. I started by doing the lessons and then going to light mode (DDR Max). I probably did light for 1-2 months before I had an A or AA on every song except Paranoia, Orion, and other hard ones. Then I stayed on standard until about 2 months ago. When I had an AA or A on all the songs besides the hard ones from before, I went back to light to get an A on the hard ones. So I successfully completed light mode and now only have a couple on standard. Then I went to heavy. I would say that between Extreme and DDR Max, I have an A on about 50% of the songs on Heavy. On the remainder, I have mostly C or better. I have to admit, though, that I really never thought I'd be able to do heavy mode.

The first game I played was DDR 2nd mix at the movie theater and that game has no beginner mode so I started on light. I understood the game so well that I could get at least get a C on all light songs but when I get to the Extreme mix I went on beginner and look at me now I can B Max 300 heavy arcade and home.

i would try do do songs on their X1 speeds but where is the fun in that.... i do songs on X1.5 Max's sukura Drop out and then i do every thing other on X2... i do So Deep and drop out remix on X3 and Bag on X5.... most people i know can read or even see a song like Max 300 on 1.5 making it 450 bpm or Leg. of Max on X1.5 making the fast part from 666 bpm to over 1000 bmp i love doing songs sooo much faster then they are... so deep needs to be faster anyways

so deep needs to be faster anyways Um... why? People b*tch about it the 'toughness' of it anyway now, so why give them even more incentive?
