I'm going to buy a ddr game for my playstation 2. I also need to buy a pad. I'm on a very tight buget I only have $60 to buy both. What game and what pad would you suggest?

$60 isn't a lot to work with, especially at retail. Gamestop may have DDRMAX2 or extreme for $35 used, and they're running a trade in 3 games get an extra $10 store credit deal, so if you've got some games you aren't playing anymore, that can help. Call around to both gamestop and ebgames and see what they've got available.
The $20 pads are all pretty much the same, but if you can save a few $$ of your 60 to go to Home Depot and pick up some plywood (3'x3'), and some vinyl floor protector, you can mod the cheap pad and it will both let you play in shoes and last longer.

they sell extreme bundled with a mat now. i think they sell for around 60.
