I really fell off the DDR bandwagon over the holidays and it wasnt cus I was busy. I bought all the DDR games and I found that I got confused by all the differences...workout mode, game mode, slow arrows on the older games. I was spending more time fooling with the directions and what to do than playing! I am thinking of selling my old games..and just doing the newer ones.

I advise against that.
You never know when you're going to want to go back and feel some classic DDR'ing in you.
Keep them on hand, just in case.

Yeah, I'd keep those older games, too. They're hard to find for a decent price. DDR overload can be a pain, especially when importing. In order to save you end up ordering 3-4 games, and unless you're really good at Heavy Mode, it takes a week or two of solid play to unlock all of the songs on each one. Before you know it, you're looking at a three month investment just to unlock the games you've got, and you're trying to avoid the temptation to dig out a new game until you've finished the old.

A nice alternative, assuming you have a extra computer or a laptop with video-out capabilities, would be to download Stepmania or DWI. That way you can have all your songs assembled at one time and avoid pointless switching.

They don't feel the same as the Playstation does. And the song overload becomes even worse when you have access to all 800 songs at once. I do like the ability to set up a constant nonstop course with random songs at a particular foot level range, though.

Hm...try going through them one by one. Then, once you're okay with all of them, try switching more often. I think it sounds fun, even though I would be so horrible at it. ^#^
