I noticed that in DDRMAX 2 you can let go of a freeze arrow and and hit a different arrow with the same foot and it will still count as an O.K. For example: ^ ^ ^ ^ >
Just pretend that stream of up arrows is a freeze... If I have my right foot on the freeze arrow I can just let go near the end and hit the right arrow with my right foot and still get an O.K. without returning to the freeze arrow. Has anyone else experienced this before?
Note: The right arrow should be a bit higher than how it's shown.

It's by design. As long as you're in the same half beat as the end of the arrow, you can release it.

Really? I thought it was a glitch since in DDRMAX you couldn't do that... That's really wierd.

I can do it in DDRMAX, but I find there's less occasion to do so. It's just the way the steps work out for me, I guess.

Another cool freeze arrow glitch is in SM. One of the Arch0wl songs (Chariots of Fire, I believe), is 1BPM. There is only 1 arrow in the whole song, like a up freeze arrow or something. The cool thing is, the freeze turns dark (like it's turning into a NG) before it hits the arrow shadows at the top, when you have a chance to hit it. Normally, it is too fast to see, but on 1BPM...cool

one thing about continuous freeze arrows is that you can let go over a previous arrow a little early and the arrow will continue to light for a very small period of time but just enough to let you flow with the rest of them.

To tell the truth, you haven't been so bad lately, so I kind of apologize for rash accusations I previously committed.

I was going to point that out as well, but it's just not worth the effort anymore.

Yeah, it seems as though some people have no regard for the well-being of other people's grammar skills.

So this post isn't totally off topic, I have noticed that in Ultramix and Ultramix 2, you can let go of a freeze about an 1/8th note early in some songs and have it still count as an OK. I wonder if that is a button glitch, or a purposeful feature of the game. UJKitten

I wonder if that is a button glitch, or a purposeful feature of the game. Well pretty much most DDR games are like that. You can literally take your foot off the pad for a split second and depress the button again and it will continue the hold. There is a delay that I think helps someone get the freeze back if they lose some pressure on the button(s). But usually you have to release the freeze and step on an arrow with the same foot, and that I think is their reason for this. But in Keyboard Mania, if you dont let go of the key at the right point, they score that just like they score hitting the beginning of it.
