I've been looking around on sites like ebay, yahoo, etc. looking for a cheap DDR game + a good dance pad.
Can anyone share stories of how they got theirs, how it works, about the quality, etc? I would very much appreciate it.

I went to the store and bought DDRMAX. I also bought a cheap pad. Later, unsatisfied with the pad I had, I went to Levelsix.com and bought their deluxe mat.

I went to Best Buy in search of DDR. I found Max 2, and bought it. I got a cheap Mad Catz pad and am not pleased. I just recently ordered an Ignition 2.0.

My brother got DDRMAX and 2 cheapo pads for $45 (thats with shipping) on ebay, but the pads started to mess up after only like 2 weeks, I ordered my DDRMAX2 and 2 pads for $60, but that was b4 I found out how crappy the pads are... I'ts still not here yet. I hope the pads I ordered are a little better then my bro's. they just have to last my 2 months till my b-day, then I just ask for a good one. But which one do you think I should ask for... I'm also gettin DDR Extreme so it can't be anything much more than like $50.

The four round stickers are the same ones that come in most dance mats, they're supposed to help the mat stick to the ground. I don't use mine, and I don't feel like I've been missing anything.

I just picked up the pad from my friend it's a Level Six Deluxe Pad, I am so stoked!

I checked it out at levelsix.com and I think I might get the Deluxe 3.1, but would the diagonal arrows work like o, x, etc. like on the ps/ps2 pads?

I have the 2.1 which diesn't have triangle and square labelled on the pad and the down left and down right trigger those buttons. I'm fairly sure the 3.1 is just a different top layer than the 2.1.
