Konami are you ready for this hehehe I've got a Dance Dance Revolution game concept idea: Imagine a dance game which shows you the arrows to follow on the screen, and as soon as you make some perfect moves, another video game starts to role on the screen. The more perfect steps you make the longer the videogame will play like a movie. But as soon as you make a mistake the movie will slow down till you make some new perfect steps. Let's give an example: Konami produces a new DDR Game and wants to include their video game movie of Silent Hill in it. It should like this: The videogame movie could be distracting you from following the arrows, but on the other hand it's also addictive to let the movie play at a good speed. If you're curious or want to stream the movie correctly you need to make perfect steps and combo's. Maybe it would also be great if they include the videogame music, although silent hill hasn't up-beat music But hey it's just an example and I think it's a good marketing idea and for the gamers it's a welcome and different way of playing Dance Games. Rockstar, please produce a GTA Vice Dance Game with its music and movie in screen ;D

Hey I saw your post today on Gamer Girls Unite! Once I read it, I really couldn't stop thinking about the concept. I wonder how difficult it would be for regular DDR players to adapt to the extra distraction of watching the new screen in the corner. I personally would love the challenge, plus you'd get to play another video game! I know some people complain about the DDR characters as they are now, but involving them in an action game sequence would really be a great way to add a storyline and more in-depth characters. One question: would this be more like a movie, or do we have the opportunity to shoot the bad guys too (or stomp on them at least)?

I unno if it's such a good idea... How you gonna watch it if you're to buzy playing... and if it's a game how can you play it and do that at the same time... I know for sure my brain would explode trying to do that... I honestly don't think so =/... Might be a good idea if you wanna use eye toy maybe... see yourself in a lil TV screen xD

First of all let me show you of an idea I had in March: getupmove.proboards26.com/index.cgi?board=PS2&thread=1077731648&action=display&start=0Yeah you were not sure if it was possible to play eyetoy and DDR, but still it became a real game in one. (Two brains haha) Anyway this idea is based on a in screen movie without you controlling the characters in the gameMOVIE itself You just control the speed of the movie by making perfect combo's. But it would be an excellent idea to expand my example, to let silent hill starts like a normal game in the MOVIE, and the character suddenly turns around and starts dancing along with you in the MOVIE / game hehehe Is anybody still following me? Oh my brain pops out with ideas and I hope I can express it correctly. Also it is very nice to see other people get inspired by it as well!!!

Yes but that is different. It's sort of an add on to a game... Not so much a MOIVE... It's different you see. PPP + DDR is way different from DDR and a moive... Not to mention I don't like the Eye toy myself... Personally I hate it! I mean come on... I don't want to see my fat ugly face while I'm playing DDR o.O... I think both ideas are... meh...
If you like em, enjoy...
Yes, my views of the Eye Toy have changed... =P
If it was like PPP if anyone has played it they use little sensors on top and bottom... They don't have a camera shovin' your face on TV....
