Thinkin about aordering up another pad so my wife can play, and so i can do doubles, but it looks pretty hard to get used to. Is there a skill level you recommend starting to work on doubles at? Right now i'm a borderline light/standard player.

I've done double a couple times on DDR Max and DDR Max 2. It depends on what songs you do whether or not it will be difficult.
The main thing that is bothersome is the fact even though the pads are side by side, when you transfer from one pad to another you may totall miss on the arrows.
If it keeps happening you look at your feet to see if your doing it correctly which in turns make you not do good on the song b/c you can't focus on the song and feet at the same time.
With practice though I'm sure you can be a pro in no time! I'm far from being even an amateur! LOL.

Well, at your level, if you want to try doubles, I don't think you should go higher than light. Being where you are means that you aren't yet able to read arrows too fast. The real trick to doubles mode is to be able to read even more combinations of arrows. Practice helps. Once you do start doubles mode, don't forget about single player mode. If I didn't become as good as I have, doubles mode would be a heck of a lot harder. It's definally a challenge.
