I'm going to be travelling soon and might have to get my DDR fix in arcades, but I don't want to have to spend a lot. I'm wondering, how many songs do you get for your money? Any tips on maximizing your workout with minimal cost?

Around here we get 4 songs for 1 buck but I get 5 because I'm soo good and get that extra stage lol. Just can't get the extra extra stage as I like to call it.
A way to maximize your workout? I'm not quite understanding...

Ummm...you can always play Oni or Nonstop, that's more song for your quarters. Other than that just always try to get extra stage and if you aren't at that level then just try harder songs. Best way i know of maxizing the workout.

Oh ha! Never thought of that... Well.. depending on how many songs you get at the arcade it might actually be better to play normal mode considering some Nonstop courses only have 4 songs.

I'm lucky cuz around my neighborhood I have fiddlesticks and funtastics arcades. At fiddlestick, they have 2 ddr extreme machines and they're both 3 tokens for 3 songs and it's joint premium meaning that you can do 2 players or doubles with one credit. At funtastics, it's pretty much the same except it's only 2 tokens for 3 songs. It's not joint premium but it's pretty cheap and their pads are in perfect top notch condition.

the mall arcade gets us 3 for $0.50 and the Nick. arcade gets us 7th mix for $0.05

Where I go we get 2 hours of time play for $15 or 75 cents for three songs.
On certain night though they have deals like 4 hours of time play for $20

Yeah the place I go to has ALOT of classic games...and most of them are free or one to two nickels per play...gotta love it...hence the name Nickel Mania

in visalia we have the oh, wow nickel arcade DDR Max2 for $0.05 and in the grove for $0.15 all at 3 songs per game

Yeah ours used to be $0.30 cents a game, then when the new manager came he bumped it to $1.00 and for 3 songs (used to be 4), and a friend who works there convinced him to lower the price and add 2 more songs...it is still the cheapest at 50 cents anywhere around me...
