Ok, I have spent some time on some searches looking for the best advice I can get for cleaning soft pads.
Mine is 5 months old and there is the mashed in dirt and it is generally getting a little nasty.
Anyways, my search results have come up empty.
Does anyone have any advice for cleaning? Any known cleaners that work well? Ones to stay away from? Better to use Soap and Water? etc...

Pray
then burn it in a ritualistic fashion.

Do you folks wear shoes on your soft pads?
I have an ignition, but i heard it was a bad idea to play in shoes on them cause it ruins the pad, so i play in socks...which provide awful heel and ankle support mind you.

noooo....Playing with shoes on a home pad is a very bad thing..unless you happen to have payed fortunes of pirates butty on a shiny nice metal pad...
and MainMor,How did your Pad become dirty? o.O..Do YOU play with your shoes on?..or your socks are just collection little crushed squirming dust bunnys?..and as SakuraMaster noted, No pads iv ever had,had the privelage or lifespan to become fully mucked beings in need of a good spongebath..Pads have feelings too >.>...as do Dust bunnys...
Frolic Forth ye Scheming Beasts and build yer capital among teh poor chaps immortal pad.*cough*

You guys play in socks? I've played barefoot for atleast 5 months now.
Feels better to me, but it did hurt for a couple of days.

I play in my socks. If I play barefoot the pads get stuck to my feet and it messes me up.

Bare feet gives you blisters.
Shoes ruin the pad.
Socks slip.
The only thing I've found that really works are those rubberized slipper socks that your gramma gives you for Christmas.
Happy Dancing!
