I love mine. It made the game a lot more fun to play as well.

i almost got one of those red octane ignition 2 pads from gamestop but the dumb guy convinced my mom that the pad will eventually break and it wont be worth her money.
Is this true you guys???

Heck eventually the car you rode in to go to Gamestop will break... the computer you are typing this on will one day break.
The pen she uses to write checks... the blender, the toaster, the TV... all of it will eventually break.
The question is... how good is the warranty?

my RO has a tear already, (stupid noobs) it's right below the up arrow on the inside of the cover. I can see all the sensors and everything, now my up arrow is a little messy
I really wanted a metal pad but my dad said the corners were too sharp, i could've gotten it since spring but he wouldn't let me, I was about to buy it myself too, I had enough money.

I have generic ignition 2.0 pads with the foam insert, but they slide really bad on carpet. Has anyone tried to red octane pads on carpet? Do they slide?

Corner too sharp?
You know, they have lab guys at most factories to test the sharpness of objects incase a child happens to come across it.
I doubt the metal pad is dangerous

Corners too sharp? The intention is to step on the arrows on the pad, not on the corners

they wouldn't be able to sell the pad if the corners were truely dangerous due to certain standards in some code... forgot which off hand but it involves toddlers
