Hi folks, I just received my first dance pad by UPS yesterday and I must admit it is the cheapest pad I think must exist. I'm new to DDR so I didn't really know what to look for. The pad slides all over the carpet and by the time I'm halfway through a song I'm missing the arrows because the pad moved so much and gets bunched up. I would like to have two pads so I can have friends to play with, but I don't want to spend a lot of money, either. So I have to find a good balance between quality and price. Has anyone ever seen or heard of this pad and if so what do you think of it: cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=21185&item=3089630388&rd=1Thanks!

I haven't used that brand of pad in particular, but it appears to be another Ignition knock-off. I know some people haven't had problems with the knock-offs, but non-RedOctane Ignition pads use a much lesser quality of foam insert that makes them wear out faster. In addition, most of those companies don't offer the same warranty service that RedOctane does. Caveat emptor.

I too bought a cheap pad and it slides all around on the carpet, not so much on a hard floor though. Most people just buy plywood and tape the pad to it to keep it from sliding. But I would rather just buy one that doesnt slide.
