Woo hoo! I got a AA on Candy (Heart Symbol) on Standard! Pulled off a 251 combo! I'm so stoked!

Last week I bought a replacement for my old Ignition pad that went on the fritz (when I get the replacement for the old pad from RO I'll be able to do doubles ;D ), so all of these have been at home, although I plan on hitting the arcade again soon ...

AA'd "Long Train Runnin'" and "Spin the Disc" on Standard, black flagged* them on Light.

In Training Mode, I can pass "Maxx Unlimited" on speed level 3 with an A, but more importantly I can get past that *&%(&#@ four-jump sequence in the 320 part without spazzing out. (That's the real trouble for me; once I can jump that fast, although I don't see how it's humanly possible for anybody to jump that fast, I think the rest of the song will come pretty easy to me.

And I passed a couple of Oni/Challenge songs ("Super Star from Nonstop Megamix", "Silent Hill 3rd Christmas Mix") with a B.

My biggest accomplishment today: finally figuring out how to make the options stick on the Disney Mix.

But also:

Got a perfect game on Let the Beat Hit Them - my first "perfect" with three feet on the Disney Mix.

Attempted tricks and did way better than last time I tried

Maintained a B in Supercalifragilisticexpiolidocious until the very end.

I have gotten A on all except 4 of the Light songs, and passed all except 10 of the Standard songs. And i have 4 AA. Im happy cause I've only had DDR for 3 weeks ;D Oh ya this is on Ultramix. I also have all challenges completed... because it locked up while loading a challenge and then i ejected disk and put back in and they all say complete now... lol

Woot woot, I just passed Max Unlimited with a D on light!! I passed Max 300 with a D on Standard! I got a AA Kinda Lady Interlude on Challenge mode. Woot woot!

Since last week (these are all at home, MAX and MAX2, on a RO Ignition):

- A lot more SDGs on Light, including black flagging "Jam & Marmalade" and "Twilight Zone"
- AAed/FCed more Standard songs, including my first SDG (4) on a Standard for "Cutie Chaser Morning Mix"
- Raised my scores on "Super Star from Nonstop Megamix" and "Silent Hill 3rd Christmas Mix" to A's.
- Passed two more eight-footers: "Spin the Disc" on Heavy with a B, "Super Star" with a D.

;D ;D ;DI loved when I moved from Light mode to Standard.. I felt like I was getting somewhere.. Then one day I moved from Standard to Heavy.. I've never felt such an accomplishment as that. I get constant perfect(s) on all the Ultramix songs except for 2.. I am so happy I'll be able to get back on soon.

It's been a week, so ...

- Working harder on Light songs, getting a lot more down to SDGs.
- First 8-foot A's at home: Kind Lady Interlude, Spin the Disc Heavy
- First 8-foot at arcade: Spin the Disc Heavy (B)
- Just for fun, took some 9-footers into Training Mode, bumped the speed down to 1 and see how I did. Got a B on So Deep, an A on Exotic Ethnic.

Next up: Trying to pass my first cata.

Umm...Hardest/Coolest thing i've done would be Beating PSMO in front of JBOY on like 1.5x, and he was all "i've never seen anyone beat it on 1.5x", lol, so i'm all...you can beat it on 1x? lol, but anyways...Praise from CAESAR!!!

I also got my Paranoia Survivor down to 37 greats last time i got on an 8th and AA'ed NeoMax on an Ignition for those of you who have that song on your stepmania's.

Well, ok, after reading this my accomplishments are pretty weak compared to you guys, but I'll brag anyways.

I've only been playing DDR Max 2 for 3 days, and today I got several A's on Light Mode (including some blue and yellow songs), as well as passing my first song on Standard Mode. Nothing to write home about I guess, but considering I'm overweight, playing on a cheapo-o pad and three days ago I was struggling with some of the lessons I am pleased with my progress. Not to mention all the great exercise I'm getting.
