...and I feel so different now... Have always wanted to try DDR in the arcade but there was no way I was going to get up there in front of everyone... So last night I brought a DDRMax and wireless DDR pad home and hooked everything up. ($60 for both) Well... all I can say is it is a total blast and so much fun!!! That, and I suck really bad.. Was a wise decision not to try in public, lol. It is a lot harder than it looks!!!! I'm sure my poor downstairs neibor is none too pleased so I took it easy... but this will definitely be part of my exercise program for now on. I'm happy to discover what you all already knew! ;D

Good job! I'm a new convert of about a month now. I wouldn't be afraid of the arcade though. The average joe is stunned when they see folks get a B on a light song. Really only 133+ists will scoff at somebody who is learning. I prefer the home versions for pure economic/convienence reasons. I don't like to spend cash needlessly and i hate waiting in line. So i play at home. My total amount of playtime at home would have cost me at least $500 by now or more if i played in the arcade.

i would play at home more if i can just get a decent pad that i can use
I wish i had a metal pad so it wont break so easily like my previous pads
I if'd take all my previous pads and combined them together, i could've gotten 2 third party metal pads or maybe even 1 cobalt flux pad

SakuraMaster, did you try the redoctane Pads? If so and that still didn't work then ask someone to help you get the Metal pad.

I'd Just like to add that i compliment ddrnubi on his suberb way of saying he become a newb and finaly played ddr in his title *golf clap* and would also like to ask some official board(which is probly build of Drunken Pez munchin Leprachaun prostitutes and german tentacle sprouting Pixie cows) To annouce "I Lost my DDR Cherry" as thus phrase for thus accasion..
