Hello. I am a newbie trying to get a DDR setup for my home pc. It seems like there are a lot of options for dance pads. Do you need a metal dance pad or does something like the redoctane ignition pad work fine? If you've had any experiences with these pads -- good or bad -- please let me know. thanks.

Between my sister and I, we put like 100 hours/month on our lame little soft pad, and it does fine, except that the front arrow only registers like 80% of the time since her moron friend's brother stamped it to death.
NEway, as long as you treat it nicely, wear socks not shoes, have some carpet underneath it so your feet don't hurt too bad, a soft pad like ours is fine.
I think it's a Pelican Night Moves Wireless. It glows in the dark. hehe.
