I have to do a debate with a pro-life stance. I can really ONLY think of ones affiliated with religion. Perhaps I could argue from the position of the unborn child? Can anyone else think of something? Please no personal opinions, let's keep this on topic!

By pro-life I assume you mean making abortion illegal, not the personal choice to have a baby even when presented the option of abortion.
-Personal responsibility (you got yourself into this mess, you have to accept responsibility)
-later possible emotional issues to mother
-moral/ethical responsibility (nice generic one that both sides could use)
-National security reasons (China and India outpacing in birth rates will mean they'll have a larger army)
-Future of the race (If non-child bearing couples are having to go through fertility treatments, their children could also have difficulties having children (due to genetics passed down from infertile/barely fertile parents). Eventually that could lead to a world where nobody can have children (ala Children of Men). Banning Abortion and fertility treatments to force adoption of genetically fertile children would prevent this.
- Research into nature vs. nurture through widespread adoption

I really like the last three as options. The National Security one is kind of brilliant if I can argue it strong enough.

Worked out great, I ended up using an argument of responsibility of both the abortion clinic and of the mother. The people that were pro-choice didn't know how to respond.

What about health of the mother? I know there is the emotional aspect, however what about the physical things it can do to the woman's body? I know of at least 3 people that I have been close with that have had one and all regretted it and 2 have fertility issues now that they did not have before, like scarring and not being able to carry a baby to term. Another thing, and I don't know where you could go with this aspect, however, there are clinics out there in the abortion business for money, and some have been shut down for performing abortions on women who aren't even pregnant. Money aspect is huge, because it is supposed to be about the woman's choice, but now it is becoming a money issue.
Oh I see you were finished...well anyways there you have it...lol
