kotaku.com/5124620/subway-teams-with-konami-to-promote-healthy-ddr-salesHarkening back to the days when Burger King was doing DDR toys (I still have a few of those, by the way, including the CD with music), Subway is peddling DDR related merchandise (including a $10 coupon for the newer DDR games). It makes a little more sense than BK because Subway's biggest marketing campaign is about how one can lose weight by eating from their low-fat sandwich menu (although the $5 foot long song is a catchy jingle. a lot more appealing than the SpongeMonkeys advertising Quiznos). Any opinions/takers?

I can't say I personally like it. It's actually good image-wise for DDR, but I don't like it being in the same class as Subway. Subway really isn't all that healthy, especially the glycemic value most of their standard sandwiches ratios have. Sorry to be a negative nancy.

What is "glycemic"

Glycemic - Referring to the Glycemic index of a food, which is a measure of how much your blood sugar levels change after eating said food. Given that Subway is mostly bread, and bread has a high glycemic index value, Subway is not a good choice for those watching the glycemic indicies of their foods.

Ugggh - I don't like Subway bread. Now if I get a wrap there instead, I feel better about it. If the coupon will be good for Hottest Party, it might be worth my while - I don't have DDR for my Wii, yet.
