Well i play DDR Extreme 2 (mainly song choice i like daikenkai and butterfly) mainly as a work out but for song choice i usually pick a random on standard and can beat all them. but when i try random heavy songs i can't do it.
I can keep up with most the note without an issue the problom i have is to keep that pace the whole song. i usally fail just cause i'm not able to keep my legs moving.
I was just wondering if anyone else has hit this same platue and if so how did you over come the step up.
when i play to work out i set my cal counter to 1000 cal first 150 are light songs then next 300 are standard 100 heavy 300 standard and 150 cool down.
the heavy i don't pass but i hit as many as i can without stopping
any help?

Try different Heavy songs, ones that have similar step-patterns to your favorite songs but that have a lower foot rating. This way you can get used to those sequences and before you know it you'll be passing and whooping your favorite songs on heavy!

Standard to Heavy is a tough hurdle. I agree with Grant, you really just need to pick some of the easier Heavy songs (that you don't mind repeating... lots) and get those steps down.

Another good hint is to look at the foot rating of the songs. Cartoon Heroes is a 7 on Standard if memory serves me correctly, so it's definitely a tough song to complete. Then try the 6's and 7's on Heavy just so you can get used to it. And don't forget, practice makes perfect!
