So I went in and priced them, and for $399 or something you can get one.
The drawback?
not backwards compatible
Now I don't know about you guys, but this sucks. Lots of suck. I'm waiting for FF13 to come out, which should be end of next year or something, and it better be cheaper then. Because now I have to worry about if/when my PS2 craps out and what i'm going to do then.

I'm going to want it once FF13 comes out, and whatever the fuck else is affiliated with that game. Are they making two now? I'm not realling following it that much.

So far, I've got no desire for a PS3, or even an Xbox 360. My Wii doesn't see much play as it is, and adding another system to the equation just doesn't make sense.

Well this is a pretty old topic but PS3 I owned it for a while. The only game I played on it was Rock Band (then it got stolen). I heard FF13 sucked so I'm not going to bother trying to get a new PS3 for that game (I didn't enjoy X-2 or 12), the only thing I'd want to buy a PS3 for now would be for Dance Dance Revolution which comes out sometime this year I believe, I'll wait until I am mastering all the back catalog. I may also want to re-purchase Rock Band if I do buy a PS3.
