So, I've been trying to lose weight for a long time now. And it seems that everytime I manage to drop about 10 to 15 pounds, something stressful in my life comes up and I gain it all back, occasionally more (even if I barely eat). I used to walk all the time, and I watched what I ate, but coming from a low income home meant that I couldn't afford all the great veggies and fruits and so on and so forth, so it seemed my parents were buying a lot of boxed and frozen foods. Since I got kicked out 3 months ago, I actually dropped 20 pounds in one month (I think partly because I didn't have money to eat anything) But when my family decided to bring a whole bunch of more stress into my life, as well as my fiance's boss bringing a lot of stress on us (and many other stressful things that life's provided) I gained back 10 of the 20 pounds I lost. I want to keep it off but for all I know I may be homeless tomorrow and wont be able to spend my money on healthy food or my time on working out. It's always been tough as it is for me to lose weight anyway, any suggestions?
I've played DDR once or twice and became addicted but can't afford to buy my own games for like xbox, all I own is a GC and a N64 and they took the one out of the mall. Anyone know where I could get some good deals on these systems and/or games?

The cheapest way to DDR is StepMania. The program is free to download on your PC a lot of songs can be found and downloaded for free as well. Only real cost to you is a USB Dance Pad.
I wish you the best of luck.

The BEST way to DDR is StepMania. The program is awesome >> DDR, ALL of the songs can be downloaded for it as well. A half-decent USB dance pad will cost about $20-$30 on e-bay. However it takes a little bit of work to get it all set-up, but if you did, well let's just say I've been playing almost every day for over 7 years and arcade machines seem subpar. I even buy all the new DDR games that come out and I usually only play them for a week or less before putting them back in the box. Eventually someone releases them for StepMania anyways, I just hate having such a limited song-selection, subpar calorie counter, ugly arrows, off-sync steps, did I mention limited song-selection. StepMania is better than DDR in every way possible.

StepMania is better than DDR in every way possible. As long as you don't mind, you know, breaking the law and stuff.

Thanks for the advice you guys =] I have heard of stepmania but I thought it was just as good as DDR, I really like the arcade DDRE, that was fun. =D I'm looking into getting a ps2 currently and two of the DDR games. They aren't as pricey as they used to be.

True true. I recently saw SuperNova 2 at the store for $20. I almost splurged and bought a copy (still working on SuperNova 1 though).
