Hi I am misstique and i have been overweight for a couple of years now. And now I am at the max of 180 pounds. I am 1.73 cm in length. And my bmi is around 30 just terrible.
I wasn't looking forward to getting a wii fit at the end of the month because it would deem me totally overweight. I wasn't ready for a computer to tell me "You are totally fat!! Get off ma back".
But since I have DS Hottest Party I am looking forward to adding the Wii fit as a method to regurlarly way to weigh myself and do some yoga and hoolahoop. And running combined with my stepper.
I have allready made some progress I have lost about 4 pounds and I only have had the game for less than a week I am not even playing on difficult. It has also made me more aware of my eating habits. It seems a shame to stuff my face and beat back the progress I have been making. I love reading the testimonials here whenever I have a fall back I am coming here to read some more.
But I think DDR is my way for losing weight. It isn't suitable for everyone. I hope to lose about 30 pounds in total. Not just to be the envy of my friends. Not just to be able to fit my old clothes again. But just to feel healthy again. I will post some before pics this weekend when My bf is here to make them.

But I came across DDR around 2007 but I played with controller for the Xbox 360 I've started playing on my pad a month ago but not often. I started again about 4 weeks ago I started on light but didn't change my diet of course I didn't loose any weight. But now I play heavy/oni - challenge and I've lost almost 10 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks with a healthy eating :]] My goal is 130 hope I play DDR for 1Hr every 2 times a day. Once In he morning and then around 7pm. Oh and I weight 170 original weight but im now 160 and 5'5 Well again Good luck to you. ~Rudy ~rudi ;D

DDR + Wii fit is a great combo! I used DDR for my main exercise and used Wii Fit to check my weight and BMI, and sometimes played with the boxing and a few features of Wii fit just for fun. I went from a starting BMI of a high 28 (in the high end of overweight on wii fit) to a bmi of 24, almost 23! i'm in the normal range now shooting for a BMI of about 22. I lost 21 pounds in about 2 months and now I've been just hanging around the same weight cuz I've been lazy about doing my DDR...lol
