I began playing DDR between 8th and 9th grade, and after a month I lost 15 pounds! It may not sound like much, but when you're 5'0 and weigh 130 pounds, the difference is tremendous (especially since I wasn't dieting). I'm a rising senior right now, and I just began to play again and lost another five pounds in about a week. Hopefully it'll add up within the next month or so I also noticed that even though I haven't been running lately, an increase of my DDR activity has resulted in increased stamina in general, including when I'm running.

I love the game but never got the chance to play it enough, only twice =P I'd love to play all the time, though. I bet it's great excersize

In 7 weeks I've lost 8.1 KG, thanks to DDR and a 1299 calorie diet controlled by my iPod touch. And I feel great!

ohh cool soo it really works? thats amazing! im qoinq to qo buy the qame i have a dance pad already cause in my house we have the hiqh school musical 3 dance qame for ps2 (which makes you sweat! lol) for now i think ill play hsm3 til i qo buy DDR. I just hope i can stay motivated and not be so lazy. if i could do this i'd be so happy. Im happy knowinq there's even a site that has real people with weight issues (like myself) that i can talk to! =]]

I played DDR/Stepmania from the age of 13 until 17 then I quit for a few years because I lost my song collection on my computer (hard drive broke), I decided to start playing again to lose my weight again. I just got serious this week but about a month ago (right before finals), I started and lost like 3 lbs. in one week but then didn't continue.
I'm going to take a photo or two of my belly, I plan on dropping about 25 lbs. at least, hoping I can take 10 of them off before next quarter starts. I'll be posting in the weight-in section if you want to know how its going.
