Hello
So this is a site about using dance type rhythm games in weight loss eh? Hmm, seems I'm already doing that. Up until maybe a week or two ago I was doing it casually. My diet had been changed too. Casually of course.
Always casually.
I'm tired of being casual. I've decided to become more pro-active in my weight loss. Growing up I was very much one of those "sick kids", which got me very much into a habit of not moving around too much. Because of this, my weight went uuuuuuup and dooooooown, depending on just how sick I was at the time.
So now, in my 25th year on this earth, I find myself sitting at 240 pounds. Considering my height is only 5'8", that is way too much.
June starts a new chapter of my life. My goal is to shed at least 80 pounds, maybe even all the way to 90 (putting my weight somewhere in the 150's range). This is, of course, requiring a lifestyle change.
Not content to simply sit and remain motionless, our hero has been working towards getting more physically active. This has included an hour of DDR everyday in the morning, and an hour of brisk walking at night (slowly moving towards a jog).
Oh, and of course the change in diet too, which isn't terribly drastic. I already have an aversion to fatty and greasy foods, and honestly love fruits and vegetables <3. It's a matter of getting the portions right.
I know this path is going to take at the very least a year. But with my health concerns as is, losing weight can only improve that (not to mention make it easier to wear fun clothes ^^ ).
Expect to be bothered by me again.
End transmission.
