yeah so im tryin to re-do my workout again on DDR . and i was wondering how do i boost my metabolism . and also i have DDR Max2 , DDR Extreme 1&2 , DDR Supernova 1&2 .
so i have another question . because i usually play all those DDR games . but the more i keep playin it & playin everyday i start to get bored .
any tips? .

To boost your metabolism, you have a few options. One, is to gain some muscle mass. For each pound of muscle you gain, you'll burn an extra 35-50 calories per day. Ten pounds of muscle will burn an extra pound of fat each week just by it's mere existence. Try and work in some resistance exercise each week. You don't necessarily need to go out and buy a weight set, either. There are plenty of bodyweight exercises that can be done with a minimum of equipment that will do plenty to build muscle.
Another option, and one that may also help with your boredom, is to increase the intensity of your workouts. A higher intensity workout, though shorter than a normal workout, trains your body to keep ready stores of energy available for that burst of speed you need. The end result is that your body maintains your base metabolism at a higher rate to keep you ready for those sprints. In DDR, this means to play higher difficulty, higher speed songs that will wind you mroe easily. You may find that you can only play 5 or so songs at this intensity, and that's just fine.
The other thing you can do is to keep your meals small (around 300 calories each) and eat 5-6 of them per day. This keeps you from going into a "too full, too hungry" cycle that plays havoc with your metabolism.

im 17 , im 5'5 or 5'6 . last time i checked i weighed around 210 . so how many pounds do you suggest that i lose to be at my healthy average weight?

I have DDR Max2 , DDR Extreme 1&2 , DDR Supernova 1&2. So i have another question. Because i usually play all those DDR games. But the more i keep playin it & playin everyday i start to get bored. Any tips? Get Stepmania and LOTS of new songs, you basically have 350 songs to choose from, but you have to keep switching discs. I have 4500 songs to choose from, without swapping anything and I add new content regularly... In 7 years of playing I still haven't gotten bored, although back when I used to play on console I was in the same situation you are in, I bought all the Japanese PS1 games, all the US PS1 games, and I have all the games that you mention, and I get bored of them quickly (I typically only play a new release for a week before going back to StepMania).

You're the same height as me, so I know this one off the top of my head. Your healthy weight is somewhere in the 140-150 range.

To try to make it more fun, you should invite a few friends over so that you can play in multiplayer mode. DDR days are fun =)
