Well for those who aren't vegetarians I will share this, progressive soups contain around 100 calories in each can, or so their commercial says so...

Apparently, they do indeed o.0 Sadly, as with every soup, they also contain about 900 mg of sodium... Still, Progresso offers a pretty nice variety.

Progresso also has low sodium soups too.

except their low sodium only has 50% less, so that's still 450mg. By comparison, a medium french fries from Wendy's has 480mg of sodium.

Well I don't generally eat progresso soup so I don't know I just saw the commercial. I can't eat canned soup, unless it's organic and all natural, because all those other soups have something in them that gives me pretty bad Acid Reflux. Campbells is how I found this out. Home made soup for me ^_^

I have realized if you write down what you eat you tend to consume much fewer calories than if you just eat

I can't for the life of me count calories. I'm so bad at numbers, and generally I'm eating handfuls of leftovers and stuff I made so I can't just look at a label and tell. But, it works for me.

The caloric value they are claiming is from one cup but each can is a bit over two servings. One can is barely enough to fill me up when I'm hungry. I no longer eat canned foods unless it's something very basic like a can of cannelini beans for a hummus or something like that. The sodium is way too high. Now that I avoid sodium as part of my healthy lifestyle I find that when I do indulge I have water weight gain that makes me uncomfortable. I never noticed it before I cut out sodium. I find that salty foods make me hungry a short while after I eat them.
