So I went to the natural foods coop today and got my tofurky's and I am way excited to try one. I will get my other one next month but anyways I am goign to do the worst thing you could ever do to something healthy lol and I am going to deep fry it. There are directions on the www.tofurkey.com webpage. I think I will inject it with some sort of marinade which I still have yet to get. But I am telling you what this is gonna be way easier and less time consuming than making a real turkey. I'll let you all know how mine turns out and my personal directions on how to cook one if you'd like. I can also give a taste rating too. I am thinking of making it tonight but I need to see if we still have a deep fryer. It is still gonna be more healthy tho than a regular fried turkey so am not sweating it to much besides it's not like I eat deep fried stuff everyday, let alone every month. Anyways yeah. I am just really excited cause I got my tofurkey's Oh and the best deal was that they were on sale for 14.99 and it was the feast not just the roast. I also got more tofurkey brand foods, deli slices and beer brats. I made out like a bandit today in that store. WINGS

They aren't too bad, but they have a texture to them like kinda wheaty I guess is what you'd call it. but they are good and I use veganaise on my sandwhiches so they are pretty good. I do though like the beer brats. I am still waiting to try my tofurky though causeI don't have a deep fryer larger enough for my tofurky so I am going to have to buy one, but ifI only use it once a year then it's all good. Actually prolly twice a year cause Christmas. Anyways I like the deli slices better than the yves brand so they are better and they have more of a selection. they have peppered turkey, hickory smoked, oven roasted, cranberry turkey, and two other mock beef type ones. they are pretty tasty. If you go to www.tofurkey.com they have a list of gorcers in each state that sell tofurkey products. WINGS
