Or have you ever?
I eat about 1800 calories a day, my body supposedly burns 1650 or so and I always do a LOt of DDR if not for dieting, I do it for fun... and about 300 calories per meal, around there.Try to keep low sugars and no more than 15-20% fats
Have you ever done this, and is it that good of an idea?

I've done it, not 6 meals, but 5 (Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, dinner, evening snack) Worked great at keeping my hunger levels down and energy levels up. It's great as long as you can control the amount of food you're eating in those meals. Some people have the tendency to eat three big meals and add two more onto that, which is bad.

Yeah I try to control myself but my first week of this 1700 minimum 2000 maximum a day over 6 meal thing (lots of DDR too) I lost 6 lbs. Is this safe? Or does it just go that fast when you change habits all of a sudden

Early weight loss tends to be fast and dramatic, as your body sheds a lot of water weight and other material. The first 10 lbs is easiest, and it will taper off from there.

Yes you should try to shoot for 6 meals a day, I currently eat 5 times and during the summer I will move up to 7, because of how my schedule works out. Weight loss is always fast at first then becomes harder later when and thats when people give you, you just need to stick with it when it slows down.

Eating 6 small meals a day is great! I went from eating 1 meal a day at about 3,000 calories....to eating 5-6 small meals a day at 12-1400 calories. I just started doing this on the 18'th of April and have already lost 25lbs. The weight loss is slowing down a little bit because my bodies adapting to the chage....but this week i've already lost 2lbs. so i'm sure i'm going to remain losing the recommended 2-3lbs. a week. I know that losing 25lbs. in a short period of time is a little bit excessive....but then again I did go from one extreme to another. I feel comfortable with my eating habits now....and it has actually given me a whole lot more energy then I use receive from my previous diet. On top of the 5-6 meal a day plan....I also work out at the gym at least 1 hour everyday....and I play DDR. I'm never even hungry anymore....and i'm only eating food in order to give my body energy....not because i'm bored. This is an example of my daily food consumption: 6:30am (Breakfast)1 cup of honey bunches of Oats 1/2 cup of skim milk 9:30am (Snack)1 medium banana 12:30pm (Lunch)2 slices of honey wheat bread 3-6oz. of starkist tuna in water 1tbsp. of fat free miracle whip 6 baby carrots 2tbsp. of fat free ranch dressing 3:00pm (Snack)1 medium apple 5:30pm (Dinner)1 Michelina frozen meal dinner (200-300 calories per meal). 3/4 cup of corn. On top of this diet....the only liquid that I consume is water. I drink about 5-6 8oz. glasses a day. Along with eating healthy and exercising....I have also decided to quit smoking. I started the nicotine patch on Monday morning and haven't had a cigarette since Sunday night at 11pm. So....i'm doing pretty good with that. Okay....now that everyone who reads this can see how bored I am at work, I think i'm gonna go now. Good luck to you all!

I don't count calories, I just eat small meals throughout the day, ONLY when I'm hungry..and stop when I'm not hungry. That right there has helped me SOOO much! (but that's just me, since I used to eat enough to fill a Mac truck!)
