When I'm feeling down, I try to get a good workout high going. For instance, earlier today I found out that my insurance company is demanding $700 for this medication I started taking...so I was feeling less than spectacular. Seeing no other option (other than eating something- there's a no-brainer mistake) I hopped on my DDR pad and went all out. I burned 500 calories in about 20 minutes, doing several Challenge mode songs in DDRMAX2. I found the anger to be quite useful! I was almost full-combo'ing some of the songs I usually trip on. I'm much better than I used to be, but I'm definitely a Standard level player.
I've found DDR to be quite handy when I feel myself starting to feel blue. Like on any given sunday I have nothing to do. Sometimes I'll get down and bang out 100 crunches or something too, just to make sure I really exert myself. I feel better almost every single time.

That sucks about the insurance thing. I found ddr to be really nice for releasing stress and anger, too. Any kind of exercise that distracts me does. =)
