Excellent! I wish you strength in keeping with your decision. Everyone I know who has dropped sugar soda from their diet has dropped at least 15 lbs from the decision (your mileage may vary).

Not drinking soda is fine... Until you go out. I always get diet so it's not that bad for me, but god... Could go for a Dew every now and then.

I think quiting soda is almost as bad as quiting cigs. But I never quit cigs so how should I know.

Well...I went from drinking about 12-15 cans a day to 0, cold turkey. It has been almost 2 years since I quit drinking soda. I never had the withdrawal headaches or anything, it was just hard the first month to constantly keep away from soda. Stick with it, when I was drinking soda I was slowly gaining weight. Since I quit I have kept my weight steady, and now working on my diet to start losing weight. And it also helps with acne.

I quit drinking pop about 1 1/2 months ago. I thought it would be hard, but it was really easy! I find that now pop tastes filmy and sickly sweet... so.. I don't even like pop anymore which means I don't crave it at all. woo!

It was only hard to break the habit of walking to the fridge and grabbing about 4 cans. That and having to get up to fill up a cup every now and then...that being said, I invested in these huge arse cups...Good times!

One time I didn't drink soda for about 8-9 months then i don't know what happened but i started drinking it again. I dropped 50 lbs when I wasn't drinking soda. I had mostly water. Now i'm stocking my fridge with aquafina. I <3 it.

It is better than regular Dr. Pepper, but at the same time, and type of soda is bad for you, regular, diet, or that low carb (or w/e) stuff. Best bet is to find a healthy drink that you like, even if it is making your own juice, or drinks of that nature with a juicer...

I've reduced myself from 10 cans a day to about 2. One with lunch and one with dinner.

Woah! 10 cans a day?! That's crazy! It's awesome that you lowered it to two! Nice job! I get it from my mom. We used to buy alot of the huge bottles of Pepsi every week and I would drink endlessly, then we got cans and it got so much worse. But now, I'm happy to say, I am soda free!!! Ginger ale is the only thing I'll drink that is soda-ish. It's my favorite. I've also quit energy drinks. They get me happy and hyper, but when they stop working, I get so tired. My mom looked like she wanted to faint when I told her about me quitting soda. Then she took a sip of her soda xD. Edit: I had some Pepsi today. But it wasn't alot, so I'm still good in my opinion. I was just craving because I needed flavor and we ran out of punch. MY LOVELY PUNCH! WHHY?

I've been working on dropping soda...and cookies...and fatty foods from my diet(I've pretty much cut fast food since last year[McDonalds SUCKS!])...I'm not too fat...but it's summer and I need something to do so my goal is to get down to 145 pounds. And earn $109.95 for a Ignition 3.0!

I've reduced myself from 10 cans a day to about 2. One with lunch and one with dinner. Well...I went from about a 12-pack of soda a day to 0 a day...cold turkey, coming up on 2 years...in the next week I believe. Haven't had any soda since. Besides the weight loss, it also REALLY helps acne.
